    About First & Gold Foundation

First & Gold Foundation is a mission-driven nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access, opportunity, and equity for youth and families through sports, education, and community-based programming. Strong, consistent visual communication is essential to both our external brand presence and internal operations.

First & Gold Foundation is seeking two Graphic Designers to support different but complementary areas of the organization. Both roles report to the Chief Marketing Officer and collaborate closely with leadership and cross-functional teams.

Candidates may apply for one role or both, depending on experience and interest.

Role 1: Graphic Designer – Marketing & Events

This designer will support the Foundation’s external-facing marketing efforts, with a focus on visual storytelling, campaigns, and event promotion.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design graphics for social media, digital campaigns, and email marketing
    • Create event-related materials including signage, flyers, banners, and programs
    • Develop visual assets for fundraising and awareness campaigns
    • Ensure all materials align with First & Gold Foundation’s brand guidelines
    • Collaborate with the CMO, Brand & Content Lead, and Event Manager

Role 2: Graphic Designer – Operations & Internal Materials

This designer will support internal and operational design needs, helping leadership communicate clearly and professionally with partners, funders, and stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design pitch decks, executive presentations, and board materials
    • Create professional flyers, brochures, and informational materials
    • Support program and operations teams with visual assets as needed
    • Maintain clean, consistent formatting across internal and external documents
    • Collaborate with leadership on strategic and operational communications

    Shared Responsibilities (Both Roles)

    • Ensure brand consistency across all visual assets
    • Incorporate feedback and revisions in a timely manner
    • Manage multiple requests while meeting deadlines
    • Maintain organized design files and templates

    Qualifications

    • Experience in graphic design or visual communications
    • Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma)
    • Strong attention to detail and visual storytelling skills
    • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
    • Experience with nonprofit or mission-driven organizations preferred but not required
    • Collaborative, reliable, and mission-aligned mindset

    Time Commitment

    • Approximately 6–8 hours per week per role
    • Flexible schedule; additional support may be needed during campaigns or events
