    Description

After School tutoring at Cherry Park Elementary

Want to make a difference in the life of a child? Volunteer 2 - 4 hours a week during the school year.

Join our AARP Foundation Experience Corps Intergenerational Team and help kids at CHERRY PARK ELEMENTARY learn to read!

Volunteers work one on one with elementary school students, helping them become better readers and instilling in them the love of learning.

No experience is needed - just a desire to make a difference, and a love of children! We provide dynamic and interactive training, and full support.

AARP Foundation Experience Corps, a program of Metropolitan Family Service, is an innovative, award-winning national service program that connects older adult tutors and mentors to students in public schools throughout the Portland Metro Area.

Metropolitan Family Service helps people move beyond the limitations of poverty, inequity and social isolation.
