Marketing & Social Media Volunteer

St. Francis Vet Care – Gainesville, FL

St. Francis Vet Care is a nonprofit veterinary clinic providing accessible, compassionate care for pets in our community. We are looking for a creative, reliable volunteer to support our marketing and outreach efforts through social media content creation, graphic design, and event coverage.

This volunteer role is ideal for someone who enjoys storytelling, photography/videography, and helping grow a mission-driven organization through consistent, professional communication.

Volunteer Responsibilities

Marketing & Social Media Volunteers may assist with:

• Developing engaging social media content aligned with our mission and brand
• Posting regularly on social platforms (Facebook/Instagram primarily; others as applicable)
• Capturing and editing photos and videos for clinic updates, outreach work, and success stories
• Supporting event promotion before, during, and after events
• Being present at select outreaches/fundraisers to capture content (photo/video)
• Designing posters, brochures, flyers, and graphics for clinic programs and campaigns
• Creating branded templates and fundraising visuals
• Supporting basic content planning (content calendar, campaign ideas, storytelling themes)
• Working with staff to highlight client stories, volunteer spotlights, and program updates

Qualifications

• Experience with social media content development and posting preferred
• Photography and/or videography skills strongly preferred
• Comfortable attending events/outreaches for in-person content capture
• Ability to create polished graphics using Canva (required)
• Strong writing skills and attention to detail
• Able to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and sensitivity when sharing stories/images
• Organized, dependable, and able to meet content deadlines
