    Description

    Are you looking to brighten the day of others? Are you looking to bring your therapy dog to visit with patients? Hospital for Special Care has a welcoming environment to bring your dog to visit and brighten the day of the patients!

    Hospital for Special Care is looking for a volunteer and therapy dog with the below qualifications to visit with our patients at our hospital in New Britain or Satellite at 500 blue Hills Avenue Hartford.

    Qualifications:

    1. Dog must be 1 year old minimum.
    2. AKC Canine Good Citizen Certification or Pet Therapy Certification is required.
    3. Documentation of up-to-date vaccinations.
    4. Note from vet: pet is healthy and well-behaved.
    5. Must be comfortable around hospital environment.
