    Description

    An elderly veteran would love to chat with you while you tidy up his space

    We have a senior client who is a veteran and goes to dialysis 3 times per week. He needs a little help with cleaning in his apartment 1x per week--he has a vacuum and cleaning supplies there. Sign up to use your skills and compassion to benefit your senior neighbor and help him remain at home living independently.

    Background on Volunteer Services:

    Volunteer Services, a program of Catholic Community Services, assists low-income elders and persons living with disabilities. Volunteers can provide assistance with light housecleaning, transportation, grocery shopping, home repair, and yard care. With a little help from volunteers, clients can continue to live independently in their homes.

    Due to the vulnerable population we serve, volunteers must complete an application form, pass a Washington State Patrol check and attend an orientation.
