    Description

The Fundraising/Development Subcommittee Member supports Bakhita Mountain Home’s efforts to build long-term financial sustainability and expand resources for adult women survivors of human trafficking. Members help identify and cultivate donors, sponsors, grant opportunities, corporate partnerships, and community connections. Responsibilities may include assisting with fundraising campaigns and events, securing sponsorships and auction donations, introducing prospective supporters, supporting donor stewardship, and helping develop strategies to meet annual fundraising goals.

Ideal members are passionate about Bakhita Mountain Home’s mission, dependable, collaborative, and comfortable engaging with businesses and community members. Fundraising experience is helpful but not required. Members should be willing to attend regular committee meetings, complete agreed-upon action items, actively participate in outreach, and serve as positive ambassadors for the organization. Training, materials, and staff support will be provided.
