Description
General purpose:
The Village Finance Committee helps the Village stay financially healthy and sustainable. It supports the Board by reviewing financial information, guiding budget decisions, and making sure strong financial practices are in place.
Could include:
- Reviewing financial policies
- Providing input on banking and investment relationships when needed
- Supporting transparency and accuracy in financial reporting
- Checking in periodically on committee goals and suggesting updates if needed
