    Position Title: Partnerships Research and Assistant (Intern)

    Location: Remote (US Resident preferred)

    Time Commitment: 3-Month Commitment, minimum

    Role Overview

    Ever been told you could strike up a conversation with anyone? We want that energy! YesLiberia is looking for a bold, personable, and community-minded Partnerships Research and Assistant Intern to help us build and nurture meaningful partnerships across the United States.

    In this role, you’ll identify potential corporate, nonprofit, rotary, university, and student partners, research partnership opportunities, support initial outreach, and help maintain relationships with existing supporters. You’ll help connect partners with the impact of our work in Liberia through research, personalized communication, regular updates, storytelling, and virtual engagement opportunities.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Targeted Research: Identify and research US-based corporations, NGOs, Rotary Clubs, Sister Cities programs, universities, student organizations, and other groups aligned with YesLiberia’s mission.
    2. Lead Generation: Build organized contact lists of key decision-makers, including corporate partnership contacts, nonprofit leaders, Rotary service chairs, and student club presidents.
    3. Outreach Support: Assist with personalized introductory emails, LinkedIn messages, and other communications to prospective partners.
    4. Partner Support: Assist with regular communication with existing partners through check-ins, thank-you messages, impact updates, and relationship-building activities.
    5. Impact Storytelling: Gather photos, stories, program updates, and key metrics from the Liberia team to support partner communications and impact updates.
    6. Partner Recognition: Help highlight and celebrate active corporate, NGO, Rotary, school, university, and student partners through newsletters, social media, and other communication channels.
    7. Event Support: Assist with virtual partner meetings, donor appreciation events, webinars, and other engagement activities.
    8. Pipeline Updates: Record research, outreach, responses, meetings, follow-ups, and partner engagement activities in Monday.com .

    Qualifications

    • Preferably located in the US and comfortable participating in US-based virtual meetings.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a friendly, professional, and personable tone.
    • Comfortable conducting online research and organizing information.
    • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
    • Basic skills in storytelling, social media, newsletters, or digital communications are a plus.
    • Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks and follow-up activities.
    • Interest in nonprofit management, community engagement, international development, or partnership development.
    • Passion for YesLiberia’s mission and empowering youth through education.
