    Description

    Volunteer Role

    We are seeking a volunteer interior designer (or design student with relevant skills) to help us reimagine and improve the interior of our Post. This is a meaningful opportunity to apply your design expertise in service of veterans and their families.

    Responsibilities

    • Assess current layout, furniture, and décor of Post 245
    • Provide recommendations for functional, accessible, and welcoming design improvements
    • Suggest cost-effective solutions for furniture, lighting, and color schemes
    • Collaborate with Post leadership to align design with community needs and budget
    • Create simple sketches, mood boards, or digital mockups to guide implementation

    Qualifications

    • Background in interior design, architecture, or related field (students welcome)
    • Strong eye for aesthetics and functionality
    • Ability to work within budget constraints and suggest creative solutions
    • Respectful and collaborative approach to working with veterans and community leaders
