    Volunteer • Hybrid/Remote (Oakland County, MI)

    The Director of Spiritual Formation supports the Rooted & Rising Institute by teaching core curriculum, guiding discipleship pathways, and helping steward the spiritual development of women in the program. This leader works closely with the Chief Spiritual Formation Officer to ensure all teaching, formation activities, and leadership development align with biblical standards and the ministry’s spiritual culture.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Teach the Rooted & Rising Institute curriculum, monthly intensives, and formation sessions.
    • Support curriculum implementation, lesson preparation, and doctrinal alignment.
    • Oversee participant discipleship, assessments, and spiritual growth tracking.
    • Equip and support Anchor Instructors, Small Group Leaders, and Mentors.
    • Assist with retreats, activations, and formation events.
    • Maintain a spiritually healthy, unified, and excellence‑driven culture.
    • Provide updates to the CSFO and collaborate on program development.

    Qualifications

    • Ordained minister/pastor or degree in Divinity, Theology, Ministry, Biblical Studies, or Christian Leadership.
    • Strong biblical foundation and ability to teach Scripture accurately.
    • Experience in discipleship, spiritual formation, or ministry leadership.
    • Strong communication, organization, and team leadership skills.
    • Demonstrates integrity, emotional maturity, and a consistent prayer life.
