Food Pantry Volunteers Needed (Cheswick, Pa)

The volunteers at Feeding the Flock Food Pantry are the backbone of our organization, and without their dedication to this mission, we would not be able to provide the community with this impactful service. With that said, we do not have enough volunteers and the shortage is critical.

We are looking for volunteers who can work with us 1 to 3 days a week for 4 hour shifts.

• Monday (8am to 12 noon)

• Wednesday (8 am to 12 noon)

• Thursday (10 am to 2pm) and (2pm to 6pm)

The work will include unloading delivery trucks, stocking shelves, rotating stock, building food boxes, and loading cars with groceries. Volunteers must be able to lift up to 40lbs.

Not gonna lie...we need strong backs and people who can be on their feet for most of the 4-hour shift. It is busy, and fast-paced, but you will never work with a group of better people, and the impact of your generosity will be felt throughout our community.
