    Description

    Volunteers are needed to assist with science activities, crafts, and general event management at this bloodsucker themed museum event.

    Event Description: Step into a world of thrill, chills, and fun at Invasion of the Bloodsuckers Family Day! Explore bats and other fanged flying creatures who inhabit our world. Learn about leeches and their use in medicine. Examine creepy crawlies like ticks, bedbugs, and mosquitoes and learn why they feed on blood and what you can do to avoid being their next meal. Explore our summer exhibit, Attack of the Bloodsucker!, a travelling exhibit from Sciencenter, where you will come face to face with live leeches and mosquitoes. Watch a fantastic planetarium show, make a buzzing craft, and much more! Join us for a thrilling and fun family day celebrating the fascinating world of bloodsuckers!

    Snacks and drinks will be provided. Lunch will be provided for full-day volunteers.

    Clothing must be suitable for a family friendly audience.

    Volunteers must be at least 16 to volunteer without a chaperone.
