    Description

    Support Group Facilitator

Amanda the Panda seeks Group Facilitators to help fulfill its mission of providing hope and healing to individuals and families who have experienced the death of a loved one. With the goal of promoting peer support and connectivity, our Braving Grief support groups work to recognize how grief affects our minds and our bodies. Our Braving Grief series includes specific groups like Traumatic Loss and Little Footprints: Perinatal and Infant Loss. Each activity helps participants identify grief emotions like anger and guilt, learn healthy coping skills, and create rituals to honor loved ones who have died. Facilitators help to guide the discussion while providing a safe space for participants to share and connect.

Group Facilitator volunteers are required to pass our Facilitator Training prior to volunteering. If you are interested in volunteering as a Group Facilitator or would like more information, please email us at afagen@everystep.org
