Description
DO YOU HAVE A HEART TO SERVE THOSE AT END OF LIFE?
Help Increase the Quality of Life of A Hospice Patient Through Companion Volunteering!
WHY SHOULD I BECOME A HOPE HEALTH CARE HOSPICE VOLUNTEER?
Because your compassion and heart to serve is needed! Our Hope Health Care Hospice Volunteers are an invaluable part of our Team who provide loving care to those at the end of life.
WHAT DIFFERENCE CAN I MAKE AS A HOSPICE VOLUNTEER?
YOU can help make ALL THE DIFFERENCE! Provided with extensive training (orientation provided at our Garland office) and ongoing education (online), our volunteers can deliver exceptional, caring and compassionate patient companionship and/or Caregiver Relief. We support the patient AND family in many ways, ultimately to remind them that they are not walking this journey alone.
WHAT IS THE TIME COMMITMENT TO VOLUNTEER?
We work around your schedule!! You can volunteer as much as you like, but always based on your availability. Average time for volunteering is 1 to 2 hours per week.
WHERE WOULD I NEED TO VOLUNTEER?
Serve in your community! Once fully trained, you will be matched with a patient in or around your community.
