    Workshops will be held once a week every Thursday for 8 weeks in 2-hour sessions; starting in July ending in August. Workshop times will be held tentatively between 8am-12pm with official time being released closer to workshop date.

    Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) education and interactive experiences? The Museum of Bubbles is seeking a Lead Facilitator to lead our engaging pop-up workshops and deliver unforgettable learning experiences for diverse audiences.

    About the Role

    As the Lead Facilitator, you will oversee the execution of Museum of Bubbles pop-up STEAM workshops, ensuring high-quality programming, team coordination, and an exceptional guest experience. This leadership role is perfect for someone who thrives in creative, fast-paced environments and enjoys inspiring curiosity through hands-on learning.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead and facilitate interactive STEAM-based bubble workshops for participants of all ages
    • Oversee and support workshop staff and volunteers
    • Coordinate setup, execution, and breakdown of pop-up events
    • Ensure all activities are safe, organized, and aligned with program goals
    • Engage audiences with enthusiasm, creativity, and clear communication
    • Troubleshoot on-site challenges and maintain a positive environment
    • Collaborate with program coordinators to improve workshop content and delivery

    Qualifications

    • Experience in education, facilitation, event coordination, or a related field
    • Strong leadership skills
    • Excellent communication and public speaking abilities
    • Passion for STEAM education and interactive learning
    • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
    • Experience working with youth or family audiences is a plus

    Preferred Skills

    • Background in science education, art education, or informal learning environments
    • Experience leading workshops, camps, or museum programming
    • Creative problem-solving and organizational skills
