Description
ServiceSource is asking for your help! CARE Mobile, our mobile program that works with older adults and adults with disabilities, is seeking passionate and enthusiastic volunteer translators/interpreters to help facilitate a social engagement event with service canines for adults living in a community setting. This role requires your help in taking attendance; encouraging attendees to interact with the service canines and their handlers; and facilitating conversations and questions for attendees who may or may not have English proficiency. No prior service canine or social work experience necessary.
