    Description

Social Media PR Volunteer &/or Graphic Designer - Yin-Yang Gender Healing Meetup & Sessions

1: Social Media PR Volunteer – Yin–Yang Gender Healing Meetup & Sessions

We are seeking a Social Media PR Volunteer to help grow the visibility of the Yin–Yang Gender Healing Meetup and Private Sessions, a global initiative exploring gender as a dynamic balance of complementary forces shaping relationships, identity, and culture.

Your role will involve sharing content, crafting posts, and helping communicate a clear, thoughtful message across platforms. This is not typical activism or branding. The focus is on nuanced, non-ideological dialogue that moves beyond polarized gender narratives toward balance, clarity, and mutual understanding.

You will help translate complex ideas into accessible messaging that invites curiosity rather than conflict. Ideal candidates are thoughtful communicators who understand tone, audience, and the cultural sensitivity of gender discussions.

You are invited to attend and experience the work directly: https://www.meetup.com/yin-yang-gender-healing/

    Participation is open worldwide.

2: Graphic Designer Volunteer – Yin–Yang Gender Healing Meetup & Sessions

We are also seeking a Graphic Designer to create visual content for the Yin–Yang Gender Healing Meetup and Private Sessions.

We are looking for designers who can create multiple interpretations of the Yin–Yang image for our monthly workshop and discussion group. Designs may be square or 16:9 and should always incorporate male and female elements, while also expressing the broader system of Yin–Yang opposites.

In Taoist Yin–Yang philosophy, opposing elements represent complementary forces that create balance and harmony. Designs may draw from classic and extended pairs such as:

    • Female (yin) / Male (yang)
    • Moon (yin) / Sun (yang)
    • Night (yin) / Day (yang)
    • Earth (yin) / Sky (yang)
    • Water (yin) / Fire (yang)
    • Receptivity (yin) / Activity (yang)
    • Passivity (yin) / Assertiveness (yang)
    • Darkness (yin) / Light (yang)
    • Cold (yin) / Heat (yang)
    • Soft (yin) / Hard (yang)
    • Chaos (yin) / Order (yang)
    • Consumption (yin) / Production (yang)
    • Brake (yin) / Accelerator (yang)
    • Decay (yin) / Growth (yang)

    Extended pairs include:

Winter / Summer, Intuition / Logic, Yielding / Leading, Downward / Upward, Inside / Outside, Stillness / Movement, Indirect / Direct, Introversion / Extraversion, Left / Right.

In Taoist cosmology, Yin and Yang also relate to the five elements: water and wood tend toward yin, fire and metal toward yang, and earth as a balancing force.

Core principles to reflect in design:

    • Opposites are relative and context-based.
    • Each contains the seed of the other.
    • Forces transform cyclically.
    • Balance creates harmony; imbalance creates tension.

These ideas influence art, medicine, martial arts, and daily life in Taoist traditions, and form the foundation of this project’s visual identity.

You are also invited to attend the Gender Talks Meetup:

    Participation is open worldwide.
