Description: Join our team in the field and play an important role in delivering our accredited diabetes education programs to communities across New Jersey. As a Health Education Volunteer, you will support our educators during classes and outreach events, helping ensure each session runs smoothly and effectively.
Volunteers will assist with a variety of tasks, including:
- Preparing and organizing intake forms and participant information
- Assisting with event setup, including PowerPoint presentations and materials
- Distributing flyers and educational resources to attendees
- Supporting participant check-in and general coordination
- Managing and distributing giveaways
- Assisting with event breakdown and clean-up
This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in community health education, work directly with professionals in the field, and make a meaningful impact in diabetes awareness and prevention.
Qualifications:
Ability to speak Spanish preferred
