Online Marketing Volunteer

Position Overview The Online Marketing Volunteer will assist in the preparation and posting of books for online marketing. You will work independently while following established procedures, surrounded by a great group of volunteers who support one another and the mission. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys books, online selling – or who wants to learn more about online selling and marketing, enjoys photography and loves to help animals!

Responsibilities

1. 1. Create online listings using information provided in a shared Google Sheet
   2. Organize and list researched books online through social media, eBay and Facebook Marketplace
   3. Prepare sold books for shipping
   4. Maintain in-store vintage book inventory
   5. Participate in bi-annual vintage book sale
   6. Follow established workflows and take direction as needed

Qualifications

1. 1. Enjoys books and online research
   2. Organized, accurate, and able to work independently
   3. Comfortable using a computer, smartphone and has basic photography knowledge
   4. Interest in supporting a mission-driven nonprofit

Location Auburn, CA – Nonprofit Used Bookstore

Time Commitment Flexible schedule, typically 6-8 hours per week.
