    Description

Help Us Build a Healing Center for the World-Right Here in San Francisco!

Join Think Round, Inc. as a Community Engagement & Outreach Intern and help bring stories, art, and hope into neighborhoods across the city and the Bay Area. Work alongside a visionary team led by a seasoned international educator to connect with local partners, design pop-up events, and shape a mobile version of the Center for the Human Family. This is your chance to make a real impact--one community ata time.

    Position Overview:

Think Round, Inc. is seeking motivated, community-minded interns to join our Community Engagement & Outreach Team. This volunteer position is ideal for students or emerging professionals passionate about cultural inclusion, storytelling, youth engagement, and intergenerational healing.

Interns will support the development of local partnerships, help design participatory programs, and engage directly with community-based organizations to bring the Virtual Center for the Human Family and The Paradise Project to life-especially through mobile exhibitions and pilot events.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist in identifying and connecting with community partners (schools, nonprofits, faith groups, etc.)
    • Help organize and support local outreach efforts, pop-ups, and special events
    • Collaborate with program teams to co-create participatory and healing-focused activities
    • Participate in team meetings and brainstorms led by the Community Outreach Lead
    • Contribute to documentation, storytelling, and communication materials related to outreach
    • Support the ongoing work of interns across Think Round’s interdisciplinary teams

    Qualifications:

    • Interest in the arts, interfaith dialogue, social justice, education, or nonprofit work
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills
    • Willingness to engage respectfully across diverse cultures and communities
    • Bonus: familiarity with Bayview-Hunters Point or other historically under-resourced areas in SF
