Fundraising Organizer: Events, Sponsors and Donors

You know the person who can get a room full of people to show up, open their wallets, and leave asking when the next one is. If that's you, we want to talk.

Invisible Warriors supports women veterans nationwide. We're headquartered in Huntsville, Alabama, and a lot of our work happens online, so you can volunteer from wherever you live. About 18% of veterans are women, and too little of the money out there reaches them. Your job is to change that.

We're looking for two or three people to build our fundraising together. Pick the one that makes you want to call someone today:

• Find the sponsor for our Friendsgiving luncheon, the Saturday before Thanksgiving.
• Find the sponsor for our monthly coffee and dessert with vets, held with the VFW in Huntsville on the second Monday of the month, starting in January. One yes can cover the year.
• Turn our Trash Pandas partnership into money for the women we serve. They sell tickets and want to work with us through next year.
• Help fill the room and line up sponsors for the Silent No More Gala 2027.

You'd work with Kristina, Roseana and Tony, volunteers already on the fundraising team. You won't be building this alone.

Who fits: you've planned an event, raised money, sold tickets, or you're the person everyone already asks to organize things. You know people, and you're comfortable asking them. You don't have to be a veteran. Neither is our founder.

Time: about 3 to 5 hours a week, more around an event and lighter between them. Most of it is calls, email and planning, and you can do that from home. Our events are in person in the Huntsville area, so if you're local, you'd be there with us.

Why it's worth your time: what you raise pays for real things. Housing and VA navigation, peer support led by women who served, retreats, and a community a woman can turn to when she thinks she's the only one. You'll meet the women you're doing this for.

One ask: we'd rather have a yes we can count on. If the hours don't fit right now, tell us what would. We may have a smaller piece for you.
