    Description

    Volunteer Job Summary

Join Global OffSite Care, a pioneering 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to expanding access to specialized healthcare through innovative technology solutions. We empower doctors and clinics worldwide via Rotary Club-sponsored telemedicine projects. Our key programs include building global telemedicine networks, hosting the Global Grand Rounds/Continuing Medical Education, and facilitating global teleconsults.

Role Overview: As a Telemedicine Liaison, you will represent Global OffSite Care and act as a bridge between our organization, partner hospitals, and the local Rotary Club sponsors. This project management role involves fostering relationships, enhancing communication, and driving project success across international sites.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Maintain Regular Engagement: Schedule and lead monthly meetings with partner hospitals to ensure ongoing support and project momentum.
    • Facilitate Outreach Initiatives: Encourage partner hospitals to extend telemedicine services to smaller clinics and neighboring healthcare facilities to maximize impact.
    • Monitor Funding Systems: Assess and report on whether the national health systems support funding for telemedicine services, revisiting these discussions periodically (every 3-6 months).
    • Follow Up on Project Progress: Ensure the project adheres to its established progression plan by following up with the project sites and facilitating necessary steps to maintain momentum and meet objectives.
    • Continuous Improvement: Regularly gather feedback and suggestions to identify areas for project enhancement and provide actionable insights to the team.
    • Additional Tasks: Perform other project-related duties as required to support the success of Global OffSite Care initiatives.

    What We Offer:

    • An opportunity to be at the forefront of expanding global healthcare access.
    • A chance to collaborate with passionate professionals dedicated to meaningful change.
    • Experience in international project management within a supportive nonprofit environment.

If you are driven by a mission to empower telemedicine practitioners and transform the patient care landscape, this volunteer opportunity is for you!
