    Volunteers Support Opportunity

    About us: Harbor Hope Center is dedicated to serving young adults experiencing homelessness in our community. We provide safe housing, mentoring, and essential resources to help young people build stable, hopeful futures. Our mission thrives thanks to the compassionate volunteers who step forward to make a difference.

    Opportunity Overview: We are seeking caring and committed individuals with good communication skills to join our volunteer team. Whether you have a few hours a week or are willing to make a more substantial commitment, your time can make a lasting impact.

    Time Commitment: Flexible scheduling is available. Some roles may require weekly commitments, while others are event-based or seasonal.

    Volunteer Roles Available

    • Mentorship: Build supportive relationships with young adults, offering guidance and encouragement.
    • Transportation Assistance: Help youth access school, work, or appointments.
    • Event Support: Assist with fundraising events, community outreach, and awareness campaigns.
    • Administrative Help: Provide office support, data entry, and communications assistance.
    • Donation Coordination: Organize and distribute donated items, including clothing, food, and supplies.
    • Social-Media & Outreach: Amplify our message and engage the community.
    • Yard & Shelter Maintenance: Ensure our spaces are welcoming and safe.

    Qualifications

    • At least 24 years old
    • Passion for supporting young adults and community service
    • Good communication and teamwork skills
    • Reliability and willingness to learn
    • Background check required for mentorship and direct support roles for young adults.
