Description
Donor & Grant Research
- Identify grant-making organizations, foundations, and funding agencies.
- Research funding opportunities that support women empowerment and community development.
- Create and maintain a database of potential donors and grant programs.
Project Proposal Writing Support
- Assist with drafting and editing project proposals and concept notes.
- Help organize proposals by outlining objectives, activities, outcomes, and impact.
- Enhance the clarity, professionalism, and overall presentation of written materials.
Donor Outreach & Communication
- Compose and send professional introduction emails to donors and grant organizations.
- Clearly and persuasively present the organization’s mission and programs.
- Follow up on communications and keep records of outreach efforts.
Partnership Development
- Support engagement with NGOs, foundations, and development partners.
- Assist in building long-term collaboration opportunities.
- Help prepare partnership requests and concept messages.
Administrative Support (Optional)
- Manage donor and grant databases.
- Track outreach progress and responses.
- Assist with reporting and documenting partnership activities.
Qualifications
We're seeking volunteers who have:
- Experience or strong interest in writing project proposals or grants
- Good written English communication skills
- Ability to carry out online research efficiently
- Familiarity with NGOs, donors, or development funding systems (preferred but not mandatory)
- Ability to draft professional emails and documents
- Basic computer and internet skills
- Availability to commit 2–5 hours per week
No formal work experience is necessary, though having relevant skills is a plus.
