Description
The Activism Network (TAN) publishes recurring newsletters and a blog designed to inform, uplift, and mobilize our community across the nation.
Requirements:
Volunteers are asked to read, edit, and critique our blog to ensure each story follows our organizational beliefs, the story flows well, and eliminate grammatical and spelling errors. Additionally, volunteers may contribute ideas, and as we grow and sustain our schedule, expand to more stories as well. Volunteers must have a Discord account.
Our Organizational Update Newsletter focuses specifically on TAN’s initiatives, chapter growth, campaign milestones, and opportunities for engagement, keeping supporters informed about the work happening inside our network.
In addition, TAN’s blog serves as a platform for civic writing and leadership development. Contributors explore issues aligned with our eight core virtues: Social Justice & Human Rights, Health & Well-Being, Political Reform, Environmental & Energy, Social Services, Infrastructure, Freedoms, Prison & Military Reform. Through essays, analysis, and calls to action, the blog provides students, young professionals, and advocates with a space to contribute thoughtful perspectives and advance meaningful reform.
Our newsletter offers a practical entry point for students and aspiring changemakers who want real experience in reporting, writing, issue analysis, and civic communication. This is a good opportunity to build skills, develop a public voice, and contribute to meaningful conversations around reform.
The listed skills are recommended, not required. All applicants must live in the US.
