    Pet certification is required through an agency providing insurance coverage for it's pets.

    Description

    Volunteers with pet's certified in Pet Therapy visit with patients to bring comfort to patients who miss or love pets. These visits provide positive interaction for patients, caregivers, family members and colleagues, in the public areas of the hospital. Pet visitation is also available for in-patients upon request and with the approval of the nurse manager on the unit.

    1 shift available:

    • Volunteers are asked to visit one day per week for 1-3 hours between 9 - 5 pm: 09:00 to 17:00 EST
