    Description

Ever thought of being a mentor? Become a Big today!

Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bluegrass (BBBSBG) connects children ages 6–13 with caring adult mentors who want to make a lasting difference. Through our one-to-one mentoring program, each Little is matched with a Big to build a friendship that helps them grow in confidence, resilience, and hope for the future.

As a Big, you'll spend time with your Little 3–4 times each month for an hour or two, doing everyday activities you both enjoy—watching a movie, playing games, grabbing a meal, visiting a local park, attending a community event, or simply spending time together. It's not about planning elaborate outings; it's about showing up consistently and building a meaningful relationship.

Every match is supported by a dedicated Match Support Specialist who provides guidance, resources, and ongoing support to both the Big and the Little throughout the match.

By becoming a Big, you can help a young person realize their potential while forming a friendship that can have a lasting impact on both of your lives.

You don't have to be perfect to be a Big—you just have to be present.
