We are a senior center located in Eastern Queens and have many older adult clients that are homebound, and incredibly isolated. Our Friendly Visiting program matches volunteers with clients in their homes for one hour per week, to add a new friend into their life (and yours) and help lessen their social isolation. We cover the areas of Flushing, College Point, Glen Oaks, Whitestone, Bayside, Queens Village, Little Neck, Douglaston, Fresh Meadows, Rosedale, Springfield Gardens and others. We need English speakers as well as Korean, Mandarin, Chinese, Spanish and Greek.
