Adventist Health Hospice Volunteer NEEDED- YUBA CITY/SUTTER AREA

The heart of a volunteer cannot be replicated. They bring comfort and joy to those being cared for during difficult times of hospitalization. Our volunteers are acutely aware that the individuals in our hospital beds, facilities or at home aren’t just patients: they’re family, friends and neighbors in need of a helping hand. Our volunteers often describe the work they perform as both fulfilling and heartwarming. We are thrilled you’re considering to become part of our team.

Volunteer Opportunities General Assistance

• Non-medical assistance to patients and their families.
• Support the need of the department to allow the medical team to focus on patient care.
• Assist in non-direct patient care office areas.

Hospice

Must be 18 years of age or older. Volunteers support our patients by assisting in the business office or making personal visits to our patients’ homes. Please contact Pang Fang- Hospice Coordinator @ fangp01@ah.org for more information.
