    Are you ready to make a meaningful difference in the lives of single mothers and their children? ASM is seeking compassionate and dedicated volunteers to join our child-sitting services team and mentorship program providing vital support to single mothers and their children in our community.

    What we Offer:
    * Thorough training and ongoing support
    * Opportunities to build lasting relationships with families and other volunteers
    Tasks:

    -To provide friendship, support and inspiration to the mentee with whom you have been matched.

    -Ability to work well with mentee children

    -Obtain and pass a background check

    -Help mentee establish goals and work towards achieving them

    -Ability to contribute volunteer events for a group, family and individually

    -To meet with your mentee at least 2 times monthly and contact mentee on a regular basis.

    -Serve as a positive role model

    -Track time involved with mentee and report hours monthly to Mentoring Supervisor once a month.

    -Works well with other volunteers for an collective goal

    -Ability to assist with group volunteer events

    -Other duties as assigned
