Seaside Sustainability is launching a global, volunteer-driven initiative designed to unite citizens in fun, collaborative environmental cleanups that strengthen community engagement and encourage actionable environmental stewardship. We are building an interactive online platform called Cleanup Co-Op where teams around the world can adopt cleanup sites, share media, connect with other groups, and contribute meaningful data (such as waste weight and materials found) to support local policy work and global environmental statistics.
We are seeking a short-term volunteer Strategic Planner with experience in strategic or business planning. This role will be essential in shaping and refining the initiative by creating clear, actionable plans that align with Seaside’s mission and long-term vision. The Strategic Planner will help define intern roles and responsibilities to ensure collective progress toward project goals. They will also help organize plans for branding, marketing, sponsor outreach, and other foundational components of the project.
This volunteer will review and revise interns’ proposed ideas and consolidate them into an actionable plan for a successful project launch. Their support in developing and streamlining our action plans will significantly improve the efficiency of the Cleanup Co-Op project and enable us to move forward with full team engagement.
