    EthicWise AI is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that equips middle and high school students to become creators, not just consumers of ethical AI knowledge. Through peer-to-peer learning, students engage in projects that explore fairness, bias, and responsibility in technology, transforming their creative work into educational resources for global peers. Our mission is to foster youth leadership in shaping a more ethical and inclusive digital future.

    About the Role

    We are seeking experienced professionals to serve as judges for the EthicWise AI Youth Competition. Judges evaluate student projects focused on generative AI, ethics, and real-world impact, while also providing mentorship-oriented feedback.

    Responsibilities

    • Evaluate generative AI projects using established criteria.
    • Review AI art, essays, and presentations.
    • Interview teams to understand technical and ethical decisions.
    • Participate in judging panels and award deliberations.
    • Provide clear, constructive, and educational feedback.
    • Uphold fairness, confidentiality, and competition standards.

    Qualifications

    • Background in AI/ML, data science, AI ethics, education, or related fields.
    • Understanding of prompt engineering and model evaluation.
    • Ability to assess projects objectively and fairly.
    • Strong communication and feedback skills.
    • Experience mentoring students or junior professionals is a plus.
