    Description

    Disaster Action Team Volunteer in Walker County, AL

    On average, the American Red Cross responds to approximately 60,000 disasters a year. Of these, about 50,000 are single and multi family home fires and other localized events to which Red Cross (DAT) Disaster Action Teams respond.

    We need you to join our (DAT) Disaster Action Team in Walker County!

    Requirements to be a (DAT) Disaster Action Team Volunteer:

    • Willingness to train and learn new skills while assisting clients
    • Commitment to respond to client’s needs
    • Flexible schedule based on volunteers availability
    • Pass a background check and Motor Vehicle Record Check
    • Basic computer skills
