    Grants & Development Director (Board Role)

    About the Role

    This is a volunteer remote role for a Grants & Development Director at The Healing Circle Foundation. The Grants & Development Director will help strengthen the foundation’s fundraising strategy, identify grant opportunities, and support donor engagement efforts that expand our mission and community impact.

    Responsibilities

    • Help develop and implement a grant and fundraising strategy.
    • Research and identify grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and public funding sources.
    • Support grant writing, proposal review, and reporting.
    • Assist with donor outreach and relationship-building efforts.
    • Help track fundraising goals, deadlines, and development activities.

    Qualifications

    • Experience in fundraising, grant writing, nonprofit development, or related work.
    • Strong writing, research, and organizational skills.
    • Interest in supporting community healing, wellness, and cultural programming.

    Required Skills

    • Grant writing and research.
    • Fundraising strategy.
    • Written communication.
    • Organization and follow-up.

    Preferred Skills

    • Donor relations experience.
    • Proposal development.
    • Budget familiarity.
    • Experience with nonprofit development campaigns.
    • Bilingual (Preferred but Not Required)

    Fluency in a second language (Mandarin in addition to English) is a plus
