    All work is done in-person at the We Care office in Corvallis. Volunteers sign up for weekly shifts that last 2-4 hours. Volunteers can sign up for as many shifts as they are able.

    Description

    Intake Volunteers confirm information on applications, make referrals, contact service providers, interview applicants for assistance via telephone, and prepare case summaries for the We Care Board. All work is done at the We Care office, which is located in Corvallis.

    Shifts take place during business hours (9am-5pm), Monday through Friday. Shift length is flexible. Most volunteers sign up for 2-4 hours per week.

    The most important attributes for this position are basic computer skills, compassion, and good listening skills. All training is provided. Make a difference in your community!
