    Description

    Reiki Practitioner, Master, or Healer - Hospice Care - Central Indiana, Lafayette, and South Bend

    Luminary Hospice of Indiana, LLC is excited to expand our Volunteer Reiki Program and looking for practitioners, masters, and healers - like you! We are grateful and proud to work with current Reiki practitioners to provide volunteer services to our hospice patients and their loved ones. Our patients benefit greatly from an approach of radiant, compassionate care and healing touch/energy in their daily lives. We are excited to support our Reiki volunteers in a myriad of ways, including our own internal Zen Den for meditative, Reiki, massage, and mindfulness practice in our Carmel, IN office that is able to be used for personal training and practice.

    We also support anyone seeking INELDA/Death Doula certification to supplement their practice and are able to provide direct clinical hours with supervision and documentation.

    Our volunteers are specially trained but do not provide direct patient care, give medications, or make medical decisions. As an invaluable resource to patients and families, you will bring a friendly smile, warm conversation, a hand to hold or offer a welcome respite for a family member. A volunteer coordinator takes time to get to know about you and your life passions to ensure the best match to maximize the reward for both you, the volunteer, and the patient. Some volunteers choose direct patient support while others work behind the scenes at the office or with the hospice team.

    What we need from you:

    • An application directly on our website;
    • Free, Luminary-provided background test, Tuberculosis test, and submission to a drug test;
    • a copy of your Driver's License;
    • Active Auto Insurance.
