    Description

    Film Festival Screener

We're looking for a diverse set of film fans to help us choose the films for the next Indy Film Fest! Screeners watch films submitted to us for consideration and fill out a short review form for each one. Perks include swag up to free movie tickets and passes to our annual festival.

    Your Role

If selected as an Indy Film Fest Screener, you will watch films that very few people have seen yet, and tell us what you think. We use your opinions, rankings, and descriptions to choose the films that will be part of The Indy Film Fest!

    Expectations

Screeners are required to watch films weekly during the submissions season, attend screening meetings (online or in our downtown Indianapolis office), and participate in occasional programming meetings scheduled by the Programmer in charge of your category. You do not need to be an expert on film, but should feel comfortable writing about film. Screeners must be 18 years of age or older to participate.

    Benefits

As you probably know, everyone involved with the Indy Film Fest is an unpaid volunteer, and that includes screeners. However in exchange for helping screen the incoming submissions and adhering to the screening policies, you will receive volunteer benefits based on how much time you spend screening films. At the top end (which should be easily achievable for most screeners) you get an All Access Pass to the next Indy Film Fest for yourself and a +1. Plus you'll be listed in the program and get to say you were a huge part of selecting which films will be shown!
