    Description

    Program Coordinator Intern

    Empact One Foundation, a community-based non-profit organization using person centered care to treat our area’s most vulnerable populations. We work with families in settings that are safe and familiar to them, and view them as equal partners when planning, developing, and monitoring care.

    The Program Coordinator intern will work in a team to represent the agency in the community; Communicate with school personnel, families, referral agencies and other organizations on behalf of the program and as representative of the agency;

    • Ensure that program services are carried out, such as activities, follow-up support to matches and life skills workshops; Keep agency current on all volunteer screening issues and techniques;
    • Work with Executive Director, Program Manager and consultants to develop and implement ongoing evaluation procedures;
    • Manage evaluation data collection;
    • Provide reports as needed to Executive Director, including monthly data into an operational summary;
    • Assist in other programmatic functions as required, such as special events, to support the program;
    • Take a lead role in exploring community collaborations and developing supplemental support services for the community.
    • Identify, evaluate and propose solutions to program areas that need special attention;
    • Serve as a member of the Staff Management Team;
    • Coordinate community services content for Web page.
    • Participate in staff development opportunities
    • Develop an annual Program Plan that includes, but is not limited to, planned training workshops for volunteers, community recruitment activities and support groups;
    • Maintain effective communication within the agency (Executive Director and Program Manager) and with the community on the progress of the project;
