Spring is around the corner, and the PNA is looking for volunteers to help welcome it with a splash of color on Saturday, March 21!
Holi - "the festival of color" or "the festival of love" - celebrates spring, connection, and the triumph of good over evil. Folks from all religions and ages are welcome to join in this fun-filled celebration, where people will chase each other around, throwing handfuls of colored powders. Originally planned by a neighbor who wants to share her culture with the community.
Volunteers will help set up, at admissions, sell extra color packets, clean up and more. All volunteers will get free admission and three (3) free packets of colored powder. Additional colored powder packets, food and drink will be available on-site for sale. Volunteers should be prepared to get colored powder on themselves/their clothing.
Volunteers who help clean up get double-credit for service hours (or an extra color packet)! :)
