    Description

    Onboarding & Setup Lead Volunteer (Virtual)

    Oversee and guide the work of the Onboarding & Setup Lead to ensure new volunteers have a smooth, welcoming, and well-supported start. You’ll manage the onboarding process, improve procedures, and make sure every new recruit feels ready and connected from day one.

    Key Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Supervise and support the Onboarding & Setup Lead in daily tasks
    • Ensure onboarding processes and schedules are organized, efficient, and up to date
    • Monitor volunteer onboarding progress and address any gaps or issues
    • Review and improve orientation materials, welcome emails, and setup guides
    • Serve as a point of contact for escalated questions or technical issues
    • Provide coaching and feedback to coordinators to maintain high onboarding standards
    • Track completion of onboarding metrics and report on volunteer readiness

    Minimum Required Skills/Competencies:

    • Resume
    • Strong leadership and team management skills
    • Excellent organization and project management
    • Friendly, clear, and patient communicator
    • Tech-savvy with tools like Google Drive, Google Meet, Google Chat and email systems
    • Assign tools to volunteers
    • Detail-oriented and reliable with follow-through
    • Comfortable providing coaching and constructive feedback
