    Description

    We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Technician to join our team. This role is crucial in maintaining and improving our technology infrastructure, supporting digital initiatives, and ensuring smooth IT operations across the organization. The IT Technician will work closely with team members to implement systems, automate processes, and provide technical support to staff and volunteers.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Maintain, update, and optimize the organization’s website and internal systems.
    • Lead IT projects from planning through execution, including software rollouts and system upgrades.
    • Administer network systems, databases, cloud services (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft 365), and cybersecurity measures.
    • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide resolutions to staff and volunteers.
    • Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations.
    • Collaborate with other departments to align IT infrastructure with organizational goals.

    Requirements / Qualifications:

    • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in IT management, ideally within non-profit or international development settings.
    • Strong technical proficiency in network administration, systems automation, cybersecurity, cloud services, and database management.
    • Demonstrated project management skills and ability to lead IT initiatives.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
    • Strong communication skills to translate technical concepts for non-technical staff.
    • Knowledge of data protection regulations and best practices.
    • Strategic mindset to align IT solutions with organizational mission and long-term goals.
