    📝 Position Summary

    The Resource Mobilisation Coordinator plays a key role in developing and executing strategies to mobilize financial, material, and human resources to support the organization’s mission. This volunteer position involves building partnerships, writing funding proposals, and coordinating fundraising campaigns to ensure the sustainability and growth of Women Empowered–International’s programs.

    📌 Main Responsibilities

    🔹 Strategy and Planning

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive resource mobilisation strategy.
    • Identify and pursue funding opportunities (grants, donations, sponsorships, crowdfunding, etc.).
    • Create and manage a calendar of fundraising campaigns and donor outreach.

    🔹 Partnerships and Relations

    • Cultivate relationships with donors, foundations, corporations, and institutional partners.
    • Represent the organization at networking events and advocacy platforms.

    🔹 Proposal Writing and Reporting

    • Draft concept notes, funding proposals, letters of intent, and donor reports.
    • Track submissions and ensure compliance with donor requirements.

    🔹 Communication and Visibility

    • Collaborate with the communications team to promote fundraising initiatives.
    • Contribute to engaging content for newsletters, social media, and the website.

    🔹 Monitoring and Evaluation

    • Develop tools to monitor fundraising performance and donor engagement.
    • Provide regular reports on resource mobilisation activities and outcomes.

    🎓 Candidate Profile

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Degree in international development, nonprofit management, communications, or related field.
    • Experience in fundraising, grant writing, or partnership development.
    • Strong writing skills in English (French is a plus).
    • Proficiency in digital tools (Google Workspace, Canva, CRM platforms, crowdfunding tools).
    • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently and collaboratively.

    • Experience working with nonprofits or grassroots organizations.
    • Existing network in philanthropy or development sectors.
