The Difference Society Wealth Walk

The Difference Society is a nonprofit organization based in Washington, DC dedicated to empowering K–12 students and young adults from under-resourced communities through financial literacy, entrepreneurship, career exploration, and youth development programs. Our mission is to break generational cycles of poverty by equipping youth with the tools and knowledge needed to achieve economic stability and long-term success.

We are hosting our upcoming 5K Wealth Walk, a community-centered event focused on promoting financial empowerment, health, and access to wealth-building resources for undeserved families

Volunteer responsibilities may include:

• Registration and check-in support

• Guiding attendees and families

• Assisting vendors with set-up

• Supporting activation stations set up and breakdown

• Medal and swag distribution

• Crowd flow assistance

• General event support and clean-up
