    Live Session Speakers or Host/Moderator

    Role Description

    Want to share your expertise as a speaker or moderate our various sessions? This is an opportunity to build your portfolio.

    As a Volunteer Live Session Speaker & Host/Moderator, you will work closely with the marketing and project teams to strengthen OpenGov Africa’s visibility, engagement, and impact. You will help translate civic initiatives into compelling content, campaigns, and communication strategies that resonate with diverse audiences.

    This is a remote and flexible role that allows you to build hands-on experience in a mission-driven organization. We are an equal opportunity organization and 1st time speakers/moderators are welcome.

    Qualifications

    Experience in hosting or moderation is a plus, but not required. If you’re confident, willing to learn, and interested in building your public speaking and moderation skills, fill the form and we'll get back to you.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Host or moderate webinars, Twitter Spaces, IG Live sessions, etc.
    • Prepare discussion questions and talking points
    • Engage audiences during live sessions
    • Ensure smooth session flow and professionalism
    • Coordinate with guest speakers and internal teams.
