Become a Veteran Hospice Volunteer.
Provide comfort, companionship, and dignity at the end of life
Veteran Hospice volunteers offer something truly powerful to our veteran patients: presence.
By sharing your time and compassion, you can bring comfort and support to veterans during a meaningful stage of life in the following ways:
- Visiting with veteran patients and providing companionship
- Focused on respectful inquiry, compassionate listening and grateful acknowledgments so that veterans can be guided through their life stories - as
only one veteran can do for another.
