URGENT need for hospice office Volunteers in Petaluma, CA who are comfortable using a computer

Anchor Health is urgently seeking several hospice office Volunteers to help each week in our Petaluma office. The current open roles are:

URGENT NEED: Tuck-in Call Volunteers (two positions open: one every Tuesday and one every Thursday):

• • What: The Volunteer makes a quick call to caregivers to check in and see if there are new supply or medication needs that have come up
  • When:
    • Either Tuesday or Thursday
    • 2 hours (more if interested) every week
    • Anytime between 9:00am and 12:00pm (can be a little later if needed)
  • Where: Our North Petaluma office near Applebee's
  • Experience: Must be very comfortable with general computer use; familiarity with Excel preferred but not required; full training provided

URGENT NEED: Bereavement Letter Volunteer (one position open any weekday)

• • What: The volunteer will print and assemble bereavement letters
  • When:
    • Once per week
    • Approximately 2 hours each week
    • Any day of the week, Monday - Friday
    • Anytime between the hours of 8am and 5pm
  • Where: Our North Petaluma office near Applebee's
  • Experience: Must be very comfortable with general computer use and with learning new tasks; full training provided

Data Entry Volunteers (multiple positions open any weekday):

• • What: The volunteer will do general data entry tasks
  • When:
    • Once per week (or more if interested)
    • 2 hours (more if interested) every week
    • Any day of the week, Monday - Friday
    • Anytime between the hours of 8am and 5pm
  • Where: Our North Petaluma office near Applebee's
  • Experience: Must be very comfortable with general computer use; full training provided

Care Call Volunteer Role (multiple positions open any weekday)

• • What: The volunteer will call caregivers to check in and ask a series of questions to make sure Anchor Health is meeting their expectations
  • When:
    • Once per week
    • 2 hours (or more if interested) every week
    • Any day of the week, Monday-Friday
    • Anytime between the hours of 10:00am and 4:00pm
  • Where: Our North Petaluma office near Applebee's
  • Experience: Must be comfortable speaking on the phone and be very comfortable with general computer use; full training provided
