    Description

    Our clothing ministry provides clothing to those facing hardship in Roanoke, VA and surrounding areas. Our facility is designed as a free clothing store, staffed by volunteers. Nearly, 40% of our guests only speak Spanish.

    Spanish interpreters for our clothing ministry help communicate with our Spanish-speaking guests. They help check guests in when they arrive at our facility, register new guests, and explain how "shopping" for clothing works. Spanish interpreters answer questions for guests and instruct them on where specific types of clothing are located in the showroom.

    Qualifications include the ability to communicate in Spanish to answer questions and give instructions. Bilingual capability is not necessary, but it is very helpful.
