Description
The Director of Sponsorship is a volunteer leadership role at Pickleball for PINK, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to fighting breast cancer through community-driven pickleball tournaments. This is a real position with real responsibility. You will work directly with our founding team to identify, pursue, and secure sponsorship partnerships that support our mission and fuel our growth.
Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential sponsors from local businesses, regional companies, and national brands
- Draft compelling outreach emails and sponsorship proposals on behalf of Pickleball for PINK
- Manage a sponsorship pipeline and track the status of all active outreach
- Follow up with prospects and maintain consistent communication throughout the sponsorship cycle
- Maintain records of confirmed sponsors, sponsorship tiers, and outstanding commitments
- Communicate directly with co-founders on pipeline progress and strategy
- Help identify new sponsorship opportunities as the organization expands nationally
Qualifications
- Current high school student with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal oversight
- Personable, persistent, and not afraid to make an ask
- Genuine interest in nonprofit work, sales, fundraising, or social impact
- Prior experience in sales, leadership, or community outreach is a plus but not required
Additional Details
- This is a fully remote, volunteer position
- Time commitment is flexible and can be worked around a school schedule
- You will carry the title of Director of Sponsorship at a registered 501(c)(3) organization, which carries real weight on college applications and resumes
- You will gain hands-on experience in nonprofit fundraising, corporate outreach, and organizational strategy working directly alongside the founding team
