    Description

    Be The Ride They Need!

    The Drive a Senior network is in need of volunteer drivers to provide seniors who are living independently with rides to medical appointments, the grocery store, activity centers, support groups and much more. Many older adults have chosen to age in place in their own homes. As they age, they may not be able to drive themselves and require your assistance to keep their body and minds happy and healthy!

    Volunteer drivers must be 21 years old, have a valid license and car insurance, pass a background and driver record check and attend a brief orientation and training session. New volunteers are encouraged to drive at least once a month and you can select any ride(s) that fit your schedule; most one-way drop off rides take an hour to complete. Rides can be scheduled by phone or email.
