Need helpers for fun activities with Seniors

Uplift Hospice welcomes all the voulnteers "UPLIFTERS"!!!

We are so glad you are considering on sharing your time and skills with us!

We have a fun, friendly and supportive work enviroment where your contributions will be valued and appreciated.

We are looking for the energetic and creative rock stars. To bring joy and excitement to patients at group homes and care facilities, leading to engaging activities tailored to each residents abilities. Whether through crafts, board games or lively interactions.

• *No special skills needed, just a kind heart ready to learn and help!

Some of the Uplifters activities are:

• Organizing and leading fun activities such as crafts, painting, chair volleyball, chair soccer, bingo and dancing.
• Adapting acitvities to meet the abilities and interests of each participant.
• Bringing enthusiams and positvity to a group settings, creating and inclusive and enjoyable atmosphere.

This is a great opportunity to develop new skills, meet new people, and make a positive impact in your community.

Requirements:

• Pass background check.
• Attend an online and in person volunteer orientation.
• Provide a valid driver's license and car insurance.
• A love for crafts, games and social engagement.
• Patience, enthusiasm, and cheerful disposition.

Flexible time, you can volunteer as much as you desire!

Our Social Buterflies Uplifters create moments of happiness that patients and caregivers treasure.

This volunteer oportuinity is offered all thru the valley. You don't have to drive far, you can just attend the ones that are closer to you.

Private Group Details:

• Group Size Range: 1 - 10
• Event can be held at a volunteer group location (e.g. office, park)
• Event can be held at organization location(s)
• No Donation
